  I consider myself way too illiterate in American history and American film culture to keep up with the major threads in the conversation about this movie. Was the treatment of Tate's murder opportunistic? Not sure. Do I feel ok about a likeable wife-murdering co-protagonist in the same (non)fictional world of Roman Polanski? Also not sure.
