  Was fun to watch, and pacing felt right but the character development and plot really fall apart under any degree of scrutiny. One of those movies where the more you think about it the worse it gets

  This movie is an empty shell. The director is ambitious enough to try to make a film about what everyone’s been thinking about since 2016, but is too scared to make the civil war ‘about’ anything.

  If you do your best to ignore the idiotic holier-than-thou centrism of “war is pointless” then you can kind of just fill in the details and it’s an enjoyable watch to see the president get shot while journalists take photos of their friends dying…
