Thinking about this Nordic LARP that I learned about in my performance art class, in which four adults played a nuclear family trapped in a bomb shelter for 24 hours (played in real time).
Halfway through the LARP, “the bomb dropped” and the performers had to take care of each other, all the while succumbing to the emotional intensity of the scene.
Watching The Atomic Cafe, I learned that most bomb shelters are essentially human pressure cookers, which makes the LARP even more funny than I first thought it was.
