    There’s a lot to love about Charley Varrick but today I mostly love that when Walter Matthau is disguised as an old man during the opening heist he looks exactly like he did in IQ 21 years later but with tidy hair. You can’t beat that for a successful piece of makeup artistry.

    There’s a whole lot of terrible acting in this movie. I love that they really put thought in to the potential sequels in the casting of real actors to play Anakin’s estranged family but absolutely zero thought in to making the first movie good.
