The location alone creates a wonderfully eerie atmosphere. There is also a really good build-up of tension and, at the latest when the radio starts broadcasting ominous messages on the news, you realise that something is very wrong here.
Even the opening gives you an ominous gut feeling. Just looking the corpse in the eye gives you goose bumps.

Terrified sets the bar pretty high with its opening scene. Unfortunately, it doesn't reach this climax over the entire running time.
The ideas themselves are quite nice. But the whole thing seems so disjointed and arbitrary that at some point it just got on my nerves.

The best alien invasion I've seen since War of the Worlds (2005).
An intense film experience from start to finish. The CGI effects here are amazing! Normally I like practical effects more. The look of the aliens is really threatening.
The fact that there is only one single sentence in the film, in the otherwise only music and sounds created terror atmosphere, immediately picks you up.
I interpret the end as meaning that she is the only personโฆ

Probably the best film on the subject of drug abuse. Elmer is a slimy and singing prime example of a toxic relationship.
Along the way there are lots of bright colours, good humour and a cute brain-eating parasite.
A better love story than Twilight!
