The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon 2023
This film has no clear voice, no artistic direction and zero nuances. It feels like a melting pot of popular classic films (I see influences of Wuxia, Chinese action cinema and horror), with not much meaningful thought given behind this mimicry. Great acting from Ethan Juan though.

With only a surface level understanding of the film, I went into the cinema on a quiet weekday evening, purchasing a ticket for one.
