Didn’t find this to be a great tale of female sexual liberty and empowerment as it was kind of made out to be, and Marijn agrees. The Father Figure dancing scene is iconic though and started me on another George Michael kick (I have listened to Careless Whisper a couple of times).

Lily-Rose does some crazy shimmying and shaking, and once again, Eggers pops off with the aesthetic. Pretty fucked up messaging about consent which some of the people I saw this with also recognized, and others suggested was just me focusing on the wrong things about film. All in all a relatively slow watch, but evidence that this nepo baby is not all parental legacy.
