As a space nerd? They actually did a really good job with the set/costume design, research, realism, etc. But the acting and plot was just kinda bad. I did really like the scene where he’s going into the dark crater and using the flash on his camera so you only see a few frames at a time. That was clever and suspenseful. Overall: realism and research can’t make a bad movie good

Imagine in your head a terrible 50’s alien invasion movie. Whatever you’re imagining is better written than this. The script and plot is so bad that I’m doubtful Ed Wood was even literate. Like, I’m confident that if I were to pick the average person off the street and ask them to write a screenplay for a movie, their script would stomp all over Ed Wood’s. This is the perfect shitty movie.
