  At times a little slow but was nice for a very politically charged story to be grounded in such tender family moments before moving on with the rest of the story. Soundtrack amaze and I can’t get all the beautiful cinematography out of my head

  This made me think about how public consumption of art can create confinement in creativity. Entering it all with authenticity and then being faced with the choice to conform to who you’re known as or keep evolving and following… your heart. Learnt cool stuff about the folk genre and its historical context. Tilly said the casting was a bit distracting which I agree. Although Timmy did great and I enjoy that his Spotify is now made up of Oompa Loompa songs and bob dylan covers.

  Every scene and every sound a pleasure to surrender to in this hyper surreal whirlwind. Captures a dreamscape where Patricia Arquette seduces us the whole way through. Shout out to academy’s boutique theatre and the subwoofer :’)
