The Personal History of David Copperfield 2019
Watched in a different light having just read the brilliant book. The book is long and complex with a lot of different storylines weaved together. It’s a shame so much of it’s omitted from the film, including Traddles who plays a key part in the book. I would’ve liked a lot more of the Uriah Heep storyline and his blossoming love of Agnes.

The first hour is incredible, atmospheric and spell-binding. I was captivated and ready to wax lyrical and gush poetical about it afterwards.
