One of my favorite movies of all time. Really unrealistic and over the top but thats the point, and it doesn't let that stop it from being entertainin. Rip Robin Williams, great in this, and Nathan Lane was a charm. Outfits and visuals, set design, everything was eye candy and now I wanna visit Miami. I don't know how much of "good cinema" it is, but I love this movie and its campy ass plot. For the time it was pretty progressive so I can excuse some stuff. Overall great guilty pleasure of mine

Another inspirational movie targeted at Mexican Americans/Latinos in general. Always makes me feel hollow, like a reminder that my culture and way of life will only be accepted if it can make a profit and be bastardized by a corporation to be sold back to and supplant my peoples traditions. I dont blame the guy, he's gotta eat, just sad that this is what we're reduced to now. Wacky, cute, full of whimsy. Good for kids I believe, although Paddington can be a bit annoying at times, and I have a seething hatred for him as he abandoned his elderly grandma in Peru and bragged to her how much better London is (somewhere she dreamed all her life of going but could cause of cost and health).
