  I enjoyed this movie. But you see where it’s going from the very beginning and the character developments are really rushed. They don’t feel forced but they could have developed them a little more. I enjoyed the songs.

  A little disappointing. By the end of the movie I started to like it more and understood what it wanted to say but throughout the film I just felt like there were so many things that just didn’t make sense to me why they were there. I didn’t get any sort of connection between the parents and children. There just wasn’t any connection between any of the characters for me.

  Cinema like this just takes me a while to get into. I can tell it’s a good movie just not my thing. I thought the ending and score were amazing though.

  First time I saw this I cried. The second time I didn’t cry but that ending still hit me like a ton of bricks. I really enjoyed seeing it a second time. There are a lot of things in this film I love. Everything is a character. From the beach to the house. Also liked how Fernandas performance is so drawn back but it makes for an effective performance. This is a film I’ll revisit probably for the rest of my life. 
  P.S. Anything with family and a hopeful message I’m usually a sucker for.
