I feel like I’ve seen Dwayne Johnson glare in at least 12 different fonts now.
The script hurt. The editing seemed half-baked at times. A few decent little twists in there, sure, but it was rough overall.
AND THE ENDING, I SWEAR. Insufferable.
The script is trying so hard to “be something” and as a result was nothing of lasting merit or substance.

Oliver’s expertly executed plans are only outdone by the film’s cinematography. The at times eccentric script was, ultimately, tastefully balanced though sometimes lost in translation due to the accents of performers. However, the story was preserved by grounded (not to be read as “subtle”) acting choices and effective editing.
Visually decadent. Thematically concerning.
