  I wish I had seen this before seeing joker. But I can understand why Todd Philips wanted to reskin this. 

  Anyway, the amount of cringe and discomfort that I felt from this film was borderline unbearable. It’s nice to see Robert De Niro’s range in this film. I feel conditioned by Hollywood to have this one dimensional image  of De Niro a tough, no nonsense, serious mob boss. But, I think it’s incredible how he’s able to pull off a character like Rupert pumpkin. Also, the name Rupert pumpkin is amazing.

  I feel like the fact I hadn’t seen Parasite was a big part of my personality. People would scream at me, “omg I can’t believe you haven’t seen parasite!!”. This explosive reaction made me feel interesting. Now, I’m just another asshole whose seen Parasite. *sigh. 4.5/5
