Felt like Sophie Thatcher was the only serious actor in this movie; which if a conscious choice, did miss the whole kids in the woods figuring out how to solve this massive problem in a Pretty Little Liars-esque comedic factor type way. Would have benefitted from more serious actors. Jack Quaid’s nepo baby recognisability completely undermined his believability. Also there was next to no point in Kat’s character.
Film carried by Thatcher who can play the kind of crazed weird girl impeccably. Film got a half star for a beautiful frame in the final scene (but won’t say which as it is a spoiler).
