this was the best horror film i’ve seen in such a long time !! it was so haunting and eerie, but not scary - and i think that’s hard to achieve. the imagery was incredible and beautiful. the acting was a 10/10 - im SO EXCITED to see more of lily rose. i hope this opens up the doors she deserves. fantastic movie, and though i’m exited to watch it again, im disappointed ill never get to see it for “the first time” again. so well done! (i really disliked the mustache tho IM SORRY it was so distracting)

A Real Pain 2024
this was a good movie but it really didn’t leave me with anything to reflect on. neither character were that likable or relatable. i actually disliked benji and he’s who i thought i would relate to the most - maybe that was the point? i can’t imagine what it’s like to be of jewish descent, and to feel the pain of walking through the camps, but i thought the movie was respectful and thoughtful of those feelings.
