  Terrible script. Did not develop characters well. Story premise was good and if it had been developed better it could have been great. I am guessing that is how they got the cast they did. Redeeming quality was it hit spot on as a clean film for my kids that had a deeper more intense plot line.

  Loved this movie. Watched it with my older kids and was really good for them to see the quest for meaning and the ill effects of trying to fill that void apart from God. I particularly appreciated that they did not clean up some of the complicated parts of Lonnie. We had some great conversations afterwards.

  Good music, classic plot with a feminist twist, they stole a lot of it from Ever After and Ella enchanted. Sadie liked it.

  Really enjoyed this, especially since my kids are into shoes :). Very well acted.
