A Neon-drenched After School Special from Hell about the horrors of the Modeling World! Does for fashion and beauty enthusiasts what 2001: A Space Odyssey did for sci fi and space lovers! Elle Fanning is fantastic in this and the film is worth the psychedelic trip!

David Lynch’s Best Film that also so happens to have his best ending! An honest and raw look at the coexistence of depression and addiction in many and how both are often rooted in trauma. Laura Palmer is such an important character and many resonate with her. The greatest tv series spinoff film and no one will be able to grab that title from it.

This film will always be special to me because I see a lot of Nadine in me (especially in high school when this film initially dropped). Her spirit still remains with me, but the eccentric immaturity that borders on cringe territory has faded over time. I also had a history teacher like Harrelson and I spent many lunches in his class.

How about no! The only corporate shill musical I will accept is Microsoft XP: The Musical! If Canada was bold, they would let me do this but with the Queen & Spadina McDonalds!

A cinematic body horror roller coaster that had even me, a horror/gore veteran shocked and entertained! Moore, Qualley and Quaid all deliver wildly impressive performances that elevate Fargeat’s strong and complex dark comedy/thriller about the unrealistic pressures put on women with beauty and aging. Leagues above anything else i’ve seen this year and I don’t expect to see anything else THIS GOOD for the rest of the year! Trippy and deep, THE SUBSTANCE is the best film of 2024!
