  Wish more films could hit as hard as this one does like damn. The style, the writing, the acting is all just so fantastic. When I watched this for the first time my mind blew up, I’m glad it still hits rewatching. That Beck credits song stuck in me head.

  The Brutalist 2024

  For a three and a half hour long movie, shit was pretty good. The VistaVision came out looking spectacular, and the cinematography paired with it very well (the reds in particular just popped so beautifully). That opening boat shot is fantastic, it places you right into the story and the protagonist’s conflict; everything before the intermission was perfection. Ironically, my biggest problem with The Brutalist is that the final 20 minutes feel rushed, as if the writer saw the page…

  Had to look away from screen and TRY to fall asleep from how embarrassing this movie was JESUS. Shit was not funny, they have the actors badly improvise jokes the whole time and then it pulled an ending out of its ass. So wack
