We live in a society where so many great films exist among us. Few films emulate this quiet abundance among us than The Thing. It highlights the isolation felt for the characters involved from the beginning, which is a kind not felt by most working among us living in a society. Harry Potter is forced to live a comically horrid childhood and somehow turns out to be a well-adjusted individual (aside from buying all of the snacks on the train so no one else can have any).
