  before watching this film I watched "being the ricardos". it was alright. The one thing I couldn't believe was J.K Simmon's supporting actor nomination for doing essentially nothing in that movie. He has one kind of sweet scene and that is it. I was confused. And then I watched "Whiplash" and realised that J.K Simmons must get honorary acting nominations for the next 20 years after his performance in that film. He could literally stand there and get a nomination because people can't stop thinking about his whiplash performance. And honestly fair enough.
