  Two women left the movie and told the ticket lady “well that was a waste of two hours” like I thought that was so bold and to tel that sweet old lady like what is she supposed to say to you…also how could a movie ever be a waste of time even if it’s horrible it’d funny. And this wasn’t horrible, it just gets weird at the end. I liked this though there’s a lot you’re left thinking about with the dilemma in the movie.

  visually insane, wonderfully casted, twists and turns galore….I knew eggers would do this story justice. I was completely taken into the world despite constantly seeing nicholas hoult, lily rose depp, aaron taylor johnson, willem dafoe, etc. for 2+ hrs and I think that is an incredible feat of filmmaking.

  sobbed. so stunning aesthetically while showing something so violent and raw. the perspective choice was essential I felt even more as if it was me and those were my friends and my family and wow. then the unexpected tezeta playing while I tried to hold back tears had me. everyone everywhere needs to see this movie asap.
