This movie was fun to watch, mostly because I haven't watched it since I was really little. It brought a sense of nostalgia and just coziness that I enjoyed being able to feel. The animation in this movie was pretty bad, though I know it would have been amazing in the 90s with the technology. I just think that some of the animations (how they did the people mostly) were a bit freaky. Overall, I liked this movie. My second favorite toy story movie.

The Shawshank Redemption 1994
I liked this movie a lot more than I expected to. I think this is a movie where you have to be some sore of invested in the characters because I believe that this is more of character driven movie. The performances given in this movie were genuinely amazing and some of the wide shots really helped to set the tone. I really enjoyed this movie and it will probably be one of my favorites.

I thought that this movie was an amazing piece of film. In all honesty, it is very disturbing, but those parts contribute to it as a horror. I think that the close up shots maximized the intensity, especially in the one-on-one scenes with Clarice and Lecter. Jodie Foster delivered an incredible performance, one filled with determination and emotion. Anthony Hopkin’s acting, to me, was absolutely outstanding. His performance was chilling, proving that killers in horror movies are not always violent and overly loud, but calculated and calm. I couldn’t stop thinking about this movie when I wasn’t watching it and it’s definitely a favorite now.

I feel like this movie was good for the time period it was made in. The practical effects were interesting to see. I liked the way they used the different camera angles and music to create suspense. Overall, I enjoyed watching this movie (despite being jump scared a few times). I think that it was pretty boring at times and there was not a lot happening which wasn't exactly fun to go through, but I understand why parts like that…
