This film made me question the writing process. The timeline is nonlinear so I wonder if they wrote the story from start to finish and then jumbled it all up. It definitely is unique and thought provoking as you begin to try to figure out what’s going on. I personally don’t love the colder colors. Overall, Arrival is a pretty good film.

Rear Window 1954
I felt it was interesting film that told a story through the perspective of people watching. At times you couldn’t hear the dialogue of those that the main character was observing, yet you still knew what was going on. I liked that one of the neighbors was a musician and provided the music for the film. I assume there was only one location that was filmed on location, which I’m sure saved a bunch of money. Rear Window is unique as I’ve never seen a movie quite like it before.
