Pulp Fiction 1994
I like the unique style of film and how it encapsulates the comic book style, however, I felt distanced from the characters which I usually seek for within a film. Nonetheless, this may have been the point of the film, as comics are meant to create excitement through dynamic action and plot. I enjoyed how the main mobsters, Jules and Vincent, are seen conversing about casual, average topics and therefore are normalised as people, not the idealised perfection seen in bad guys.
