My Old Ass 2024
This film was really good. If anything, it's a beautifully constructed reminder just to make the most of every moment because time moves quickly. Just because you have a lot of life ahead, doesn't mean it will be the same throughout, so savour every moment.
The film looked beautiful which is a trend I've been very happy to see in films lately. Things actually seem to be getting better!

I really liked the books when I was younger, and as much as I don't think many films can ever beat their book counterpart, this film at least was able to recreate the aesthetic I remember.
It's an enjoyable watch, and I hope there is a sequel.
The only issue I have is how frail the bad guys were throughout. And also the cringy tiktokified music choices.
