Inception 2010
Positives:
– I have to admit that Inception is my favorite movie of all time. Despite some issues like heavy exposition or Ellen Page‘s weak character. There is something about this film that heavily influenced me as a teen.
– The cast is amazing. No surprises here. They are all perfect.

Parasite 2019
Positives:
– Parasite is now one of my favorite movies of all time. It is absolutely phenomenal.
– Everything is perfect. This is only possible because of Bong Joon-ho‘s incredible direction.
– The cast is amazing. Especially Song Kang-ho and Choi Woo-shik. Everyone‘s great.
– Parasite is the best social commentary I have probably ever seen to date. This makes this movie so impactful, boundless and timeless.

Positives:
– Wind River is one of the best crime dramas in recent years.
– The direction is so good. I can‘t wait to see what Sheridan does next.
– The cinematography is gorgeous. Cold, hostile, dangerous, depressing and yet beautiful.

Negatives:
– So I‘ve seen Tenet a second time now. I gotta say my issues with the movie didn‘t change. They got even more obvious now. And yet... I enjoyed this movie even more now. Let me explain later.
– Tenet is more of a spectacle than a character driven movie. It depends on what you prefer but I think a great movie always needs interesting characters with comprehensible motivations. Tenet has none.
