  I hate this movie with a burning passion. The complete dehumanizing of the addicts, giving them zero depth of character beyond their drug of choice. The gratuitous and obscene sexual content. The active misinformation around drugs the movie continues to promote. This movie is pure trauma porn from the war on drugs era. I seriously could write pages on why I think this movie and Darren Aronofsky are just the worst. Actually one of the least favorite movies I’ve ever…

  This movie cannot be overhyped.

  I went in with the highest expectations I’ve ever had for a movie and it exceeded them. I was on the edge of my seat with baited breath; I’ve never felt so responsive to a movie. Truly epic in scale and weight. I am so grateful to be alive to see this come out.
