Watched this having heard it discussed with much enthusiasm on the Pure Cinema Podcast. Man, did those guys burn me this time. This is a borderline nonsensical piece of meandering fluff which leaves you wanting to slap the film maker and wondering WTF John Sayles was thinking when he was writing this.

Great Choice 2017
I would have preferred if it wasn’t all *about* something, though. It works best as a diabolical piece of surrealism. As soon as a meaning is imposed on us, its inventiveness and invitation to imagine is undercut.
