Old school suspense does with class and panache!

Hitchcock is and was the man when it comes to mining horror and suspense from mundanity. A simple yet devious little story, bolstered by some incredible acting and glorious craftsmanship, especially in the visuals and the sound design.

Another gem from one of the all time masters.

Sincere, PULPY 80s shlock and some of the finest ever made. Everything from the lavish sets to the effects to the performances are handled with such love and care.

Schwarzenegger shines in his first major beefcake role opposite the great James Earl Jones. It also has some of the best original tracks ever composed for a movie.

Infinity quotable and always a blast, there’s a reason my mother loves this epically dumb masterpiece and so do I.

Gritty 80s sword & sorcery shit at its finest! A bit rushed in terms of its pacing, it really attempts to condense a fair amount of Arthurian legend, which does cause some confusion in terms of its timeline.

However, the sets, costumes and, most importantly, the performances are all on point. The whole thing succeeds at telling alot of story in a moderately condensed fashion while also delivering on Medieval vibes and high adventure.
