Incredible compositions.
Performances that are absolutely wonderful.

“I am a poet in deeds--not often in words.”-Ian Fleming, Goldfinger
Obviously a beloved Connery outing.
He still looks great here. He’s settled in as Bond, they’ve got the formula down to a science. It’s great.

You got a smudge on your lens there, let me get it for you.
You know, when I watch versions of the Arthurian legend, I realize how little I like so many of the characters and wonder, what am I to lean from all this madness?
But it’s a story that has lived so long in my life in so many ways. I can’t not love it. It’s older than time. And then there’s this movie.
This shining, lens flare personified of a movie.
There were 9 minutes cut from this film by the MPAA before release in the US.
If you see any version of this movie, if you want the full grindhouse experience, seek the director's cut. There's a very distinct transition between the original movie and the very grainy cut scenes, but it just adds to that filthy transgressive feel that the kids love so much.
