    Better Man

    ★★★★½

Wonderful. A phenomenally creative film that has amazing musical numbers, complimenting a heartbreaking and personal story. Robert “Robbie” Williams’s story is complex and this film brings that to life in such an exceptional way. This film deserved a bigger box office, critical acclaim, and a brighter spotlight. The film also has wicked sharp VFX and feels like a real musical. Better Man is a beautiful portrait of a complex musician unafraid to embrace the dark moments and blending them so deliciously with the shining ones.

A fun and crazy sci fi adventure that is full of duplicates and is humorous in its exploration of clones. Robert Pattinson gives a complex performance as his different selves. Mickey 17 is a wacky science fiction film that offers an entertaining time.

    I Saw the TV Glow

A messy and exhausting experimental film that has little to no plot, one dimensional characters, and frustrating execution. The neon colors and aesthetic are nice, but the lack of substance and story is appalling. I Saw The TV Glow has an interesting concept but the film itself is neither affecting or worthwhile.

    Between Two Ferns: The Movie

    ★★½

A light and silly extended version of the Funny or Die sketches. The film is a long gag and never rises more than that. Between Two Ferns: The Movie features amusing celebrity cameos and some humorous situations, but never feels like a feature film.
