This film is pretty bad. I feel like 15-year-old me would have loved the silly deaths but in the end, we are left with no real resolution.
I understand the criticisms about introducing a new character and giving them more importance than the original figure the story is based on. Personally, I think this take on the story could have worked if the plot had taken steps to explain why Hera’s valor never reached the public eye. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen. Given the way the story unfolds, it feels like her deeds would have become legendary—songs would have been written about her—yet here we are.

The idea of relating music to love is far from new, but seeing it unfold through the eyes of two psychopaths? Now that’s a fresh, intriguing concept. Joker: Folie à Deux delivers some visually stunning shots, and its homages to old '70s TV shows are clever in theory.
However, the film seems hesitant to fully embrace its musical nature. The songs begin shakily, and the set pieces feel minor in the early stages. As expected, the musical numbers grow grander…

We all know how it starts—Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.... But does this latest installment in the franchise do the name justice, or is it just another rehashed IP cash grab? Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations going in, considering the current trend of milking any recognizable property for profit. I assumed Beetlejuice was the next grave to rob.
To my surprise, the film wasn’t a total misfire. It’s a lot of fun, with vibrant and spooky set pieces that pull you straight…
