So good. should be the gold standard for neo-noir films I think. Non-predictable storytelling which is actually one of the most impressive things I think a movie can do nowadays. So many films I watch now can’t pull it off. All three leads were so well written and the use of dramatic irony between the three of them really made me enjoy this.

Ninja Scroll 1993
This is like a movie I would wish for from agenie . The character design was really sick and they animated the violence so nice. There was a rock villain in the first 30 minutes who had the best design in the whole movie. Chrome weapon and everything. Feel like this should be the gold standard for japanese animation probably maybe definitely
