just know that i was shaking my head in disapproval the whole time… but i had to see it
genuinely, Majors gives an elite performance with glimmers of peak modern acting. the preparedness and depth he provides to the role are extraordinary. but the script gets sloppy, aspects are over/underutilized, and there’s just mess left to be cleaned up. also it felt like they made 4 different scenes that could be the end, weird pacing with some of those. anyways, this man can sadly and pathetically consider his bag and career well-fumbled, despite his masterful work.
