an extraordinarily beautiful movie that doesn't have that much to say. ignoring the surface level treatment of catholicism and religious politics, i really do think its just such a good movie to look at

transatlantic flight movie review 3/4
due to the limited selection on Level Airlines, i chose to watch this movie.
while i do believe it was a good movie, its so aggressively depressing that it instilled a sense of nihilism so deep inside me that i gave up on everyone in the movie 30 minutes in. as far as slice of life war movies go though, it felt a lot more honest and compassionate than a lot of other films dealing with similar environments.
