The best word to describe it in my opinion is ‘Orgasmic’, stunning visuals, costumes and sets, performances were insane! it’s a really interesting take on the vampire myth/folktale focusing on its roots in tradition and religion.
However it does have a very easy storyline to follow, not as twisted as Eggers previous work but the ending is still very cool! I also feel the timing and place for certain characters and events aren't as realistic as it would be, but at the end of the day it doesn’t make a big enough impact too be a serious problem with the picture.
