  I'm completely blown away. This film focuses, as noted in the Q&A after, on the aftermath of a sexual assault. What happens in the days and years after and the effects it has on a person.

  The film truly lands on what it feels like in the aftermath. The avoidance of words, even years later. The panic attack if that person randomly resurfaces, either on their own or in spirit. The visceral moments of forgetting and remembering. There was even…

  Rains Over Babel 2025

  This is such a fun movie, my only "complaint" is my personal regret for not seeing this in the theater. So many characters, but satisfying for each of them. I also have the largest crush on El Boticario. The "magic" system is delightful in its simplicity and lack of explanation, and each setting and scene is beautifully crafted.

  I wish I could be more specific, but this is truly just a perfect sit down and enjoy the ride kind of movie.
