Kubrick is undoubtedly my favorite director of all time, not a single person have i witnessed to match his level of diversity as well as deep complexion and pleasing aesthetics.

A clockwork orange is an immensely complex story bathed in a vibrant and unique aesthetic. This is a deep deconstruction of evil and human nature that makes for such a palpable profound experience to witness. Not only is this a great analyzation of complex themes, it’s also a masterful character…

An unbelievable overwhelming sensory experience that is unforgettable. This features THE best use of digital sweeping landscapes i have ever seen in a film. Filled with powerful themes, down to earth acting, and a score for the ages, Interstellar is a masterful vision put to screen that is both remarkable and hard to believe that something like this could ever exist. A one of a kind, sublime film whose level will not be matched for quite some time. Insane film

Really needed a comforting film to watch while i desperately await my next berserk volume in the mail.

That being said, I haven’t loved a movie THIS much on a rewatch in so incredibly long. This serves as a really great metaphor for the end of Miyazakis career, (even though this might not be his last film,) it really shows how nothing will last forever, all great creators will one day step down. Such a beautiful movie from both a…

Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe are perhaps my two favorite working actors today and watching them play off of one another is so fucking amazing. Not only does this have some all timer performances in it but it’s also so well crafted, dripping with mythological references and lore throughout. Such a fantastic atmosphere that i really cant get enough of its just so brilliant. Not as good on a rewatch for me but still really great. Robert Eggers can cook, and this proves no different. Really great film

Overflowing with sauce. This was so good, a stylish comfortable western that was incredibly enjoyable to watch. This made me really want to pursue more westerns because it’s one of those few genres that i have barely dipped my toes and this was also just so good. Great and iconic all around.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! ?! Now that my thoughts are somewhat composed on this im going to share some of them. I truly do think this is what it felt like to watch greatness in fiction unfold in theaters such as lord of the rings. Denis villeneuve delivers his masterpiece with Dune 2 and i couldnt be happier. This will go down for me as ultimately one of the greatest sequels it is absolutely already in that conversation and…
