My kinda movie. Old tech Biopic. Start up hope and dream fantasy tropes. A real piece of shit, “this is what it takes” ball breaker, clashing with a sheepish genius. Shoot for the stars, getting there, and then failing anyway. See Halt and Catch Fire. Reco me more of these.

The Wild Robot 2024
“Wild Robot” is really beautiful. It is incredibly transparent about its themes and narrative, but complex when it comes to characters and visual approach. It feels like it gets a little lost “mid-migration” and takes a real out-of-character turn around this time. It deserves the Oscar, and I can’t believe how normalized Matt Berry has become.
