The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent 2022

This was so fun to watch. Finally an original plot that somehow had both depth and self awareness. It could’ve been a tad more cohesive throughout but I loved it and the concept and would love to see more movies like this.

Astro Boy 2009
Legitimately hated this movie. Felt like a waste of time in theaters and it was only my family in there. We aren’t huge movie critics but this is one of the only ones I can remember everyone walking out and agreeing it was terrible. Nicolas Cage was such a weird choice for this, but I guess that was the only way to make it seem relevant enough to go see it?

Fantastic Mr. Fox 2009
Been a favorite since 2009. Claymation and stop motion have always been weird to me, but fantastic Mr Fox is just so cozy it doesn’t even matter. The cast is insane. I’m so glad they never tried to do a sequel for this and left it alone like the masterpiece it is.
