  Okay wow this movie. It really explores the borderline of mental illness, sanity and our obsession as humans with achieving personal perfection to the point that it consumes and destroys us. It really pointed out how you can obtain perfection to a level that you absolutely can lose sight of what it means to be human, flawed, and the movie totally manifested what that becomes, what that looks like.

  Studied this for gsce which would usually make me sick of watching and studying something so much however the was not the case with this. Learning the small details is what made it for me.

  What makes this movie so crushing fir me is hiw BEAUTIFUL it is to look at. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, genuinely couldnt have found a better cast. These two are perfect through all Tim Burtons movies buy seeing them voice actibg is so eye-opening. Childhood fav of mine.
