Very entertaining! An interesting take on futurism that I haven't seen before. Mike Judge delivers and makes an entire future of Beavises and Butt-heads.
Question that could unravel the entire premise: if everyone is stupid, who's making the monster trucks and architecture? Being a court room artist who captures characters that well isn't a job for someone who can barely think, either.

I was really tired watching this but through the power of eating peanuts I did not fall asleep!!! It was slow but in a very good and cool way. I love the character development. They're so realistic. The ending isn't about money, but the pain that Eddie had to experience in order to realize that.
(I watched the European cut which is apparently made better.)
Everything is covered in glitter. Tim Curry devil. Tom Cruise dresses like Tarzan(?) and wears no pants the whole time. Unicorns. Goblins. Little troll guys with ridiculous names like Screwball. There's a fairy. Very campy. I love this movie.
Also I read that the death of the unicorn and the challenges Lily faces are a metaphor for innocence/virginity, so that's interesting.

This was my second time watching it. The first was in 2021 right after I finished (and analyzed, very in-depth) the show and I was so glad to see these guys again.
When I watched it the first time, I had a lot to say about the similarities between Spike/Vincent/Vicious. There are also multiple lines referring to seeing in the past, which reminded me of Spike's eyes, and wanting to live a real life…
