  i feel sure that pwsa was inspired by prabhas (kalki, salaar, saaho), albert pyun, the last witch hunter, beowulf 1999 starring christopher lambert, pitch black, cheap 80's fantasy novels, and then to top it off had to make it a western also. there's just nothing like being dropped into an insane fantasy world that makes no sense with zero context!! if you aren't hooked by the opening scene where dave bautista looks right into the camera and says he's going to tell a story about a quest with monsters just walk out of the theater and let the nerds enjoy in peace

  logging this in place of kevin can f-k himself, just finished watching the final episode and my mind is blown, life changing show (also it's a momentous occasion because i almost never watch/finish tv shows)

  A polite man is driven to murder. He becomes a prophet and screams manifestos on love, war, and the increasingly alarming impact of technology and progress. Driven to insanity by his own insights into the human condition, he travels to a river in an attempt to drown himself but instead is baptized and absolved of sin. He dies, crosseyed yet painless.

  This is the definitive fairytale of my generation, and the moral is "watch out, you might get what you're after". Jesus lives, and he's wearing a giant suit.
