  Deep down, there are a Benji and a David in all of us. Two sides constantly fighting. Our insecurities and anxieties of existing in society but also in our skin. Each of the brothers are two halves worn down and jagged over time. They don't fit perfectly together, just the same as interpersonal relationships we all share. A beautiful film from beginning to end.

  And anyone who says Kieran didn't deserve the Oscar can suck shit.

  Sonic the Hedgehog 3 2024

  Continuing my streak of watching the third movie in a franchise without seeing the preceding films. Every joke from Sonic was kind of annoying, Marsden phoned this one in and everything coming back to "revenge is bad, let's be friends" was silly. However, the supporting cast, especially Jim Carrey, were pretty damn good. In the end (it doesn't even matter), it was a loveable fun time but I was a little underwhelmed. The CG were nuts tho.

  I will say this one time and one time only, I will do every single thing Nic Cage did to those bad guys to anyone who even lays a finger on my wife. Also, the colors in this movie are beautiful and mesmerizing and I want more.

  I love how the second act is a slapstick comedy. A beautiful film on the aftermath of getting married in Vegas.
