This movie will sit you down and console you, a gentle squeeze on your left shoulder, just barely below your collar, and your corpse has busted its last nut

This may be the best "documentary" I've ever seen. It's slow and horrific and it's real(?)

People seem to be concerned that Congo was faking his remorse for some Hollywood redemption, but the ending is visceral either way, because I don't believe that Oppenheimer wants us to feel like he redeemed himself in any way. His remorse isn't irrelevant, but we see both sides of it and can interpret things for ourselves. That ambiguity humanizes him in a way that…

The decline of their movies after this is wiiiiild

Harmony still doing it like nobody else

This met my expectations, which were that it would be my favorite of 2023 and immersive AF. What I wasn't expecting was how damn funny it would be. I think a lot if people are annoyed by how repetitive and aimless this is, but it actually uses that to build an effective absurdist atmosphere imo. It's not necessarily paving new ground. Tons of outsider cinema has done this before, just not in such…

Last time I watched this, I was with one guy in a garage and he didn't enjoy it. That kinda diminished my rabidity.

But folks, my obsession is back. This 3rd watch was the best yet. Just transcendent. I was in Packard Cosplay and met him after the show! Great experience.

This was also a cut I've never seen before, some fun extra subheadings and maybe some extra shots?

This was the first time I felt like I could take…
