Back to the Future Part III 1990
Damn i love this trilogy so much. Three straight movies which continue the same actors and same exact vibes. Maybe nostalgia is hitting me, saw this trilogy when I was a kid, but these movies all are equally great, which is so rare with a trilogy. Legit maybe one of the simplest sure, but purest True Westerns that I've seen.

Lebanon, Gaza, Israel, Afghanistan, Colombia, Myanmar, Ethiopia, a million other places on the Earth. War is a fucking nightmare and this movie shows people trying to simply live and exist and grow up. The main characters here could live in any war-torn state, but they are still way more relatable to me than seems possible. Imagine if your entire 15th or 16th year occurred in a place where you didn't feel safe, where radical dogmatic zealots tore apart your neighborhood…

Chinatown 1974
Every scene in this movie was either foreshadowing or beautiful independently, or both. Nicholson's acting was out of this world. He showed complex, conflicted emotion in subtle ways, but you felt for him throughout. Dunaway was an amazing actress in her own right. The slow burn of the movie lulled the time by, and the pace of the movie only sped up in exactly the places it needed to. Unbelievable movie.
