Holy slam a cow
This film is classy classy CLASSY and absolutely TRANCENDS the whodunnit trope.
Complex intriguing themes, insanely natural acting, all wrapped up in intimate biting crispy devastating visuals/sounds.
Was this the main woman’s actual life and it was a documentary or is she the best actor in the world? Who knows
The organic shots just kept ploughing in shaving layers and layers of the separation between the viewer and screen.
The dog and boy also need an Oscar, stat.
And now, I will be looking up that song and hopefully watching every movie this crew has made. :)
