  Gorgeous film with an unbelievable score and soundscape. One of the most visually appealing films I’ve seen, and each of the 4 vignettes stand out from one another in unique ways. Truly great storytelling all the way around.

  This felt like classic Yorgos. Each vignette was unique and gripping. The trifecta of Jesse Plemons, Emma Stone, and Willem Defoe is unbeatable. I got nothing fun or interesting to say, I just loved this film.

  One of the most entertaining films I’ve seen in recent years. Original, perfectly-paced, perfectly-casted. The story was somehow fully believable despite being a Frankenstein tale taking place in a Seuss-Burton-Steampunk dreamworld. Thoughtful, yet fun, I felt this film was a breath of fresh air. “What a beautiful retard” is a great line to drop within the first 10 minutes of a film.

  The tennis in this movie is awesome, and I unapologetically love the soundtrack. However, the story is Shit From A Butt - a one dimensional vehicle for 20-something losers to glom onto and feel, somehow, through some vicarious means, rich, sexy, and hip. It’s the “Brat” of movies. And the worst part: Zendaya is completely un-convincing as a home wrecking sex symbol. There’s no way you could convince me the pussy was worth all that. Again: Shit. From. A. Butt. Oh, and the ending was stupid.
