Went into the film with no prior knowledge of Capote’s life or the events which transpire, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. PSH is absolutely phenomenal, I learnt so much about Capote’s personality and morals through his performance. Very much worth a watch.

Two things I loved on rewatch:
1) The camera work. Those long, haunting shots of never-ending corridors. Positioning a shot from the corner of a room to create a feeling of the crew being observed. The frantic handheld shots as Ripley is running for her life, drawing you into her panic and terror as she runs for her life. All fantastic.
2) Just how bad a day Lambert is having. Most characters in horrors are either stupid or intent on…
